So I get a kick out of getting to know more about my favorite bloggers. I mean in blogland we make friendships and get to know each other but rarely meet, boo! I wish I was made of money because there are so many wonderful people I'm meeting out here and would love to just jet over and have lunch with you special ladies. I've literally met people from all over the world and all over the country. With this being said, I think it's fun to get to know more about all of you via our blogs and think you'd like to know a little more about me...
Me with my sweet kiddies visiting San Diego last summer.
1. I'm 5' 4 1/2" and really think if I were just 3 inches taller I wouldn't have any weight issues.
2. I wore braces
3. I flunked my driver's test the first time and the instructor made me cry...mean old cranky guy!
4. I absolutely love old movies. Black and white ones starring Cary Grant even better.
5. God did not give me an athletic bone in my body and therefore I hate to exercise.
6. Sometimes I brush my teeth 4 times a day :)
7. I chew lots of gum...maybe I'm obsessed with oral hygiene...wonder what that means, hmmm.
8. I mean I seriously go through lots of gum...like a pack every two days. I chew it for like 10 minutes and then spit it out.
Image from Steve Madden...aren't they cute?!
9. So I bought these totally hip, trendy, adorable boots I've been obsessing about from Steve Madden right after Christmas. They are amazing! I have worn them lots and I wore them the other day. I had lunch with my dad and then ran errands. You know, always in a hurry. One errand on my list was banking. So I get out of my car with my dapper boots and strut myself in the bank. One of the employees greets me with a warm smile and a hello and looks down at my boots...I know, I'm thinking they're spectacular right? I stand in line for a few minutes and another customer walks by me and looks at my boots too, wow, these boots are attracting lots of attention I'm thinking with a little smirk inside my head. I waltz up to the teller and chit chat with her a bit and I notice another customer down the row staring at my boots, hello, wow, the ladies in here are enthralled with my boots. I'm thinking, "See a 50 year old can rock boots when she wants to it just takes a little confidence". I'm done with my transaction and I start doing my I'm too cool in my boots routine and out of the corner of my eye I'm seeing something white tagging right beside me...at first thought I'm thinking something like small dog, piece of paper when I am horrified to see attached to my super cool boot is a trail of toilet paper!!!! Uh, what on earth?!? and how do you casually unstick toilet paper from your shoe?!? I must have turned so many shades of red that I became purple. Ugh...my boots are still super cool, but let's just say they are much cooler without toilet paper attached to them.
I don't know maybe the things I've shared are abit TMI, sorry. Just trying to keep it real and let you know the real me, flaws, toilet paper and all.
Blessings,

Real is good:)

I walked out of a restaurant in Florence, Italy with a tail of toilet paper 20 feet long caught in the waistband of my pants. I walked into the market and a BEAUTIFUL Italian girl pointed it out to me. *I wished the ground would have swallowed me.

Oh...I feel for you, Valerie. The boot/toilet paper thing has never happened to me but I saw it happen to someone else. Worse, I saw a lady come out of a bathroom with her dress tucked into the back of her panty hose!!Does that make you feel better?
XO,
Jane
